Director
Key Responsibilities:
Manage team of more junior professionals, including VPs, Associates and analysts.
Lead engagement teams in sell-side, buy-side and general advisory M&A engagements
Oversee due diligence
Lead preparation of documentation and materials
Market and negotiate the transaction
Lead engagement teams in execution of financing transactions, including public offerings, private placements and PIPE transactions
Work with senior bankers to ensure prompt and effective execution of transactions
Provide support with new business development efforts, including:
Identification and prioritization of potential clients
Development and delivery of pitches to prospective clients
Participation in marketing at appropriate industry events
Take initiative in developing junior team members through formal project work and informal coaching and mentoring
Take initiative in helping develop junior members of the investment-banking department, through formal project work and informal coaching and mentoring.
Identifies, assesses, and monitors applicable risks based on the Firm's risk management policies and procedures. Reviews work of subordinates for risk management purposes, if applicable.
