Overview

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA. Must have the abillity to be onsite at our Mt. Laurel, NJ location once per month.

 

Provide operational and technical leadership for Bankcard Operations, overseeing daily processing, staff performance, system administration, complex issue resolution, customer support, and operational risk. Exercise independent judgment in resolving complex issues and coordinating department priorities, and ensure continuity of critical operations when needs arise or during critical absences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight of bankcard operations, ensuring operational excellence across transaction processing, card servicing, systems administration, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Drive process optimization, risk mitigation, vendor and stakeholder coordination (including 3rd party managed services), and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage vendor relationships, support audit and examination activities, and oversee system enhancements. In collaboration with other stakeholders, execute product implementations, conversions, and strategic initiatives. Drive process improvements, develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with business partners across the organization and with vendors to support operational excellence, customer experience, and the Bank's strategic objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the card operations team by driving workforce development, talent management, change adoption, and employee engagement initiatives. Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, performance management, and knowledge transfer while fostering a high-performing culture that supports adaptability, accountability, and sustained operational success.
  • Serve as a key liaison for external partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective administration of third-party relationships, technology implementations, and departmental initiatives. Facilitate and/or coordinate system enhancements projects, project stakeholders and deliverables, and organizational change efforts to support evolving business needs and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Support new product implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and conversion activities while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience, operational excellence, and regulatory adherence.

 

Qualifications Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Finance, Business Management. (Required)

The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $64,700.00 - $107,900.00 annually.

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
