Back End Developer
As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side components of our energy management platform. You will work closely with our front end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure a seamless integration between the front and back end systems. Your primary focus will be on developing efficient and scalable code and ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the server-side components of our energy management platform
- Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure the security and reliability of our systems by implementing proper security measures and conducting regular tests
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate best practices into our development process
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Continuously improve and optimize our systems for better performance and user experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in back end development
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with server-side frameworks such as Node.js or Django
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of security principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
