Job Summary
The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps automation. The role requires a strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure, Terraform, Packer, and DevOps practices, with a focus on developing scalable, reusable automation solutions while maintaining reliability, security, and cloud engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop and manage Terraform modules and Packer images for automated infrastructure deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to implement secure and scalable cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and cloud platform issues.
• Perform code reviews and ensure infrastructure follows security standards and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize Azure environments for performance, availability, security, and cost.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and modern development tools to improve productivity.
• Develop scalable and reusable cloud automation solutions with a focus on reliability and cloud engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software engineering or cloud engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Packer.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong programming skills in Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications
