Title: AWS EKS Architect

Location: Tampa-Princess Palm Ave

Role Summary
Seeking an AWS EKS Expert to lead container platform modernization initiatives and provide architectural guidance for implementing Amazon EKS as part of enterprise cloud solutions. The consultant will advise customers on Kubernetes best practices, platform design, scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Must Have Skills
Deep expertise in Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and Kubernetes architecture.
Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing containerized workloads on AWS.
Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, security, ingress, service mesh, and cluster operations.
Experience implementing AWS cloud-native architectures and modernization programs.
Ability to define EKS best practices for scalability, reliability, governance, and cost optimization.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with Terraform, Helm, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of container security, observability, and platform engineering.
AWS certifications and experience with multi-account AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
Advise customers on EKS architecture, implementation strategies, and best practices.
Design and enable EKS as a core component of modern cloud-native architectures.
Establish deployment, security, monitoring, and operational standards for Kubernetes platforms.
Collaborate with customer and engineering teams to accelerate container adoption and modernization initiatives.
