Cloud Security Engineer Location: Morrisville, NC Hybrid workFull-time role.Responsibilities of the Cloud Security Engineer Include:- Ensure secure AWS configuration by maintaining environments aligned with best practices, STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and NIST 800-53 controls
- Identify and remediate security gaps through continuous monitoring, documentation of findings, and creation of remediation tickets
- Engage stakeholders by leading discussions on configurations, vulnerabilities, and recommended actions
- Collaborate across teams including DevOps, IT, and Compliance to support secure cloud operations
- Automate and document security processes using cloud-native tools and scripting while maintaining clear security documentation
Qualifications for the Cloud Security Engineer Include:- 2+ years of professional cloud security engineer experience
- Ability to work in the U.S.
- Experience with AWS, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, security Hub, and WAF
- Hands on knowledge with SIEM tools
- Proficiency in scripting and automations
Preferred AWS certified security-Specialty, CISSP certificate
