Overview

The Treasury Management (“TM”) Relationship Officer is a key contributor responsible for supporting the development, expansion and client-facing delivery of the Bank's Treasury Management function. This role serves as a Treasury Management product and relationship resource, partnering with Commercial Lenders, Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Retail Banking and other internal stakeholders to identify client needs, support solution recommendations, strengthen client engagement, and expand awareness and utilization of Treasury Management products and services.

 

The position combines Treasury Management product knowledge, client engagement, solution consultation, and internal partnership. The primary focus is to support the growth of Treasury Management products and services by helping assess client needs, position appropriate solutions, and enhance awareness of the Bank’s Treasury Management capabilities.

  • Support the development and expansion of the Bank’s Treasury Management function by serving as a Treasury Management product and relationship resource to clients and internal partners.
  • Partner with Commercial Lenders, Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Retail Banking and other internal stakeholders to identify Treasury Management needs, support client engagement strategies, and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Participate in client and prospect discussions to assess Treasury Management needs and identify appropriate product and service opportunities.
  • Support consultative discussions with clients and prospects by helping evaluate business needs and align Treasury Management products and services with client objectives.
  • Serve as a Treasury Management subject matter expert to internal partners and clients, providing guidance on products, services, technology, client applications, and solution positioning.
  • Develop and deliver Treasury Management presentations, client proposals, pricing support analyses, and related materials that align client needs with Bank capabilities.
  • Review clients’ Treasury Management services utilization, client feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities to improve product positioning, strengthen client engagement, and support future growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of Treasury Management products, services, and client applications.
  • Support disciplined pricing discussions by reviewing pricing analyses, fee considerations, and product recommendations in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Treasury Management trends, competitive offerings, and applicable federal and state regulations to support informed recommendations and compliant execution.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal partners and clients through consultative communication, sound judgment, product knowledge, and responsive follow-through.
  • Support client retention and relationship development by promoting appropriate use of Treasury Management services and identifying opportunities to enhance client engagement.
  • Partner with the Treasury Management Manager and other internal stakeholders to support a consistent client experience and ongoing utilization of Treasury Management products and services.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Treasury Management, commercial banking, cash management, client relationship support, business development support or a related financial services environment required.
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and client applications within a commercial banking environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to support client relationship management, product consultation, business development support, Treasury Management solutions, or related client-facing initiatives within a financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to build credibility with clients and internal partners through consultative communication, sound judgment, and effective relationship management.
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, product recommendations, and solution-oriented materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

COMPENSATION:  $85,000 to $115,000 annually
