Role Summary/Purpose:

We are looking for a Technology Product Lead that is focused on delivering best in class products within the Specialty and Shared Services portfolio, which includes Secured Installment & Select Pay. As a critical member of the Product organization, the TPL will partner with the Marketing Organization to develop and execute a product roadmap with a YOY vision. This role requires you to be able to work with a variety of teams across the organization, gaining alignment with the organization and key stakeholders, and leading the development of technology-driven, innovative solutions and enhancements. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in a fast-moving agile environment, collaborates effectively across teams, and acts as an owner by proactively taking initiative.
  • Provide technical direction for the Specialty and Shared Services portfolio to meet business growth, profitability, and customer needs. Primary focus will be on the Secured Installment product with secondary focus on the Select Pay product.
  • Own the entire product technology lifecycle, from requirements gathering, build, testing and release.
  • Partner with the Marketing Organization to define clear product requirements and user stories, collaborating closely with all technology teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Engage with our agile product development processes, working with product technology, user experience designers, engineers, and data scientists to continuously refine the product based on user feedback and data analytics.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment to ensure features are prioritized effectively against other initiatives.
  • Provide support to Business Development to ensure consumer products technology is accurately represented in RFP responses.
  • Lead technology teams, in a matrixed environment, through project plans that include major milestones, critical risk indicators, measures of success and contingencies.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies impacting installment lending.


Essential Responsibilities:
  • Set and communicate technical product strategy and direction for the Specialty & Shared Services portfolio (primary: Secured Installment; secondary: Select Pay) aligned to growth, profitability, and customer needs.
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into clear product requirements and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria; ensure shared understanding across delivery teams.
  • Own end-to-end delivery across the product technology lifecycle: discovery/requirements, user stories, design/architecture alignment, build, testing, release, and post-launch support.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and data science in an agile environment to iteratively improve capabilities using customer feedback, operational insights, and data analytics.
  • Drive cross-functional planning and prioritization to balance feature delivery with other enterprise initiatives, dependencies, and capacity constraints.
  • Lead matrixed technology teams through structured execution plans which includes milestones, risk/issue management, success metrics, and contingency plans.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality delivery by managing scope, trade-offs, and release readiness (including testing, controls, and documentation expectations).
  • Support Business Development by providing accurate technical product positioning and input for RFP responses and client-facing technology questions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in installment lending to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and risk mitigation.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of IT experience or equivalent leadership program experience, or in lieu of degree High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years of IT experience, experience in developing and implementing information systems and project management experience
  • Experience in product management, especially technical product management
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required


Desired Characteristics:
  • Credit card, consumer finance or financial services industry experience
  • Experience within Secured Installment Loan industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives and projects in an Agile environment.

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.

*Field Sales and some Commercial team roles may have varied location requirements based upon partner obligations or preferences.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
