Job Overview:LPL is seeking a results-driven, adaptable
Assistant Vice President to support Strategy & Business Management initiatives within the Service organization. In this role, you will partner closely with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders to drive high-impact initiatives and ensure the effective operation of key business management processes that keep the service function performing at its best.
This individual will play a central role in improving the quality and efficiency of decision-making, tracking progress against key priorities, and ensuring execution against annual goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enables leadership to stay focused on the highest-impact priorities.
You will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, balancing strong analytical thinking with sound judgment and a focus on execution. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, foster cross-functional relationships, and consistently deliver results that enhance the performance of the broader organization.
Responsibilities:- Own and optimize the business rhythms of Service, including strategic planning cycles, business performance, financial tracking, and executive reporting
- Partner with Service leadership to define, refine, and dive the long term strategy for Service
- Develop strategic business cases and executive ready materials for the President, Board of Directors and Operating Committees
- Analyze industry or business trends, performance data, and market shifts to inform strategic direction
- Drive executive reporting by shaping narratives, preparing materials, and ensuring leadership is fully informed on priorities, risks, and outcomes
- Partner with leadership to oversee core business operations, including headcount management, hiring, capacity reporting, budget, and leadership offsites
- Synthesize enterprise insights by gathering data, analyzing trends, and translating complex information into clear recommendations
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment across Service and partner teams to ensure clarity on priorities and interconnected initiatives
- Stand up and lead special projects and events in partnership with Service leadership, inclusive of event planning
- Enable leadership effectiveness by monitoring issues, maintaining key relationships, & anticipating needs to support the success of the Service organization
- Support talent planning and departmental operating reviews in partnership with HR, Finance, Data & Analytics, and Business Leaders
- Conduct structured problem solving to uncover insights and shape recommendations that enhance execution and business outcomes
- Support the implementation and adoption of key initiatives through structured change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Act as a thought partner to department heads and frontline leaders to translate strategy into action

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience (or equivalent experience), ideally in financial services, consulting, or business management roles, with a demonstrated track record of performance and impact.
Core Competencies:- Experience with PowerPoint and the ability to consolidate information into a cohesive and coherent story.
- Experience with demonstrated success in strategic planning and project management, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to timely execution. Skilled at managing multiple priorities independently and effectively.
- Experience with analytics and reporting, including the ability to interpret metrics, identify patterns, and synthesize insights from key performance indicators.
- Proven ability to build relationships and effectively partner with senior stakeholders across functions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and drive work to completion.
Pay Range: $102,176.00 - $170,259.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
