Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
• Admission in good standing to a State Bar (California preferred)
• 6-10 years of relevant REIT and real estate transactional experience
• Strong ability to manage complex transactions
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and within teams, showcasing strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate legal documents for real estate transactions
• Manage outside counsel and coordinate with internal teams
• Assist in preparing confidentiality agreements and letters of intent
• Coordinate due diligence with team members and outside counsel
• Oversee closings and follow-up post-closing activities
• Prepare and review intra-company agreements
• Maintain and manage legal forms
