Location: Lexington Park, MD - 100% Onsite
Position: Aviation Logistics Planner Senior

Overview: ITC Defense is seeking an Aviation Logistics Planner, Senior to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) International Program Managers (IPMs) and Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs) within PMA-259 (Air-to-Air Missiles). This position provides senior-level logistics planning, analysis, and sustainment support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Security Cooperation programs. The successful candidate will support lifecycle logistics activities associated with aviation weapon systems, support equipment, training systems, and sustainment programs while assisting government stakeholders in achieving readiness, acquisition, and long-term support objectives.

Responsibilities:
Support may include, but is not limited to, the following general areas:
  • Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses to support aircraft, weapon systems, support equipment, training systems, and sustainment programs.
  • Develop recommendations related to maintenance planning, manpower and personnel requirements, support equipment, training, technical data, initial provisioning, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and other Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
  • Support the development and review of Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Total Ownership Cost (TOC), Maintenance Plan (MP), Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), and Level of Repair (LOR) documentation and recommendations.
  • Analyze proposed changes to aircraft, weapon system, support equipment, and inventory requirements and assess impacts to sustainment, readiness, supportability, and lifecycle support strategies.
  • Evaluate maintenance concepts, support systems, and sustainment processes to determine their effectiveness and applicability to supported programs.
  • Track program milestones, action items, schedules, and logistics requirements through review of Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), contract documentation, In-Service Support Plans (ISSPs), and other program documentation.
  • Support new business initiatives, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case development, Security Cooperation activities, program implementation efforts, and follow-on sustainment planning.
  • Support and participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Coordination Meetings (TCMs), conferences, briefings, and other program activities occurring within CONUS and OCONUS, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting DoD acquisition, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), logistics, program management, engineering, business analysis, or related defense programs.
  • Experience supporting program planning, coordination, reporting, scheduling, or analytical activities.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, presentations, or other program documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, as required.
  • Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting PMA-259, NAVAIR aviation weapons systems, missile systems, or ordnance programs.
  • U.S. Navy Ordnance, U.S. Air Force Weapons, or equivalent aviation weapons system experience.
  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Security Cooperation programs.
  • Experience supporting NAVAIR logistics, sustainment, or acquisition programs.
  • Experience developing or reviewing Maintenance Plans (MPs), Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) products, and Level of Repair (LOR) analyses.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and DoD lifecycle logistics processes.
  • Experience supporting international partners, ally nations, or security assistance programs.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Maryland, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
