Job Summary

Architect role in a global organization responsible for designing and optimizing enterprise grade audio video conferencing solutions that deliver reliable collaboration experiences across hybrid work environments. The architect will define end to end architectures ensure seamless integration with communication platforms and drive continuous improvement in service quality while aligning with business and compliance needs for cards and payments.

Responsibilities
• Design scalable and resilient audio video conferencing architectures that support hybrid work models while ensuring high availability reliability and ease of use for global business teams.
• Define detailed solution designs for conferencing platforms including meeting rooms endpoints and backend services to ensure seamless interoperability and consistent collaboration experiences.
• Evaluate and select audio video technologies and tools based on performance quality security and total cost of ownership to support current and future enterprise collaboration needs.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders such as network teams security teams and application owners to align conferencing architecture with broader enterprise standards and strategies.
• Provide technical guidance for deployment and configuration of audio video conferencing solutions across multiple locations ensuring standardized setups and optimized resource utilization.
• Analyze call quality metrics usage patterns and incident data to identify systemic issues and implement targeted improvements in audio video performance stability and user satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams design patterns and technical documentation so that operations and engineering teams can effectively support and evolve conferencing solutions.
• Coordinate with vendor partners and internal procurement teams to validate product capabilities negotiate solution roadmaps and ensure that platform updates align with enterprise requirements.
• Implement robust monitoring alerting and capacity management practices for conferencing services to proactively detect issues and maintain consistent user experience during peak usage.
• Integrate conferencing platforms with enterprise identity systems collaboration tools and workflow applications to streamline user access and enhance productivity across business units.
• Drive adherence to compliance guidelines and information security policies in conferencing solutions with particular attention to data protection considerations relevant to cards and payments transactions.
• Conduct impact assessments and risk reviews for proposed changes to conferencing architecture ensuring that upgrades migrations and new features do not disrupt critical business operations.
• Mentor implementation and support teams on best practices for troubleshooting audio video issues and optimizing configurations so that incident resolution becomes faster and more effective.

Qualifications
• Demonstrate strong expertise in enterprise audio video conferencing technologies including room systems conferencing endpoints and cloud based collaboration platforms with a track record of successful implementations.
• Apply deep knowledge of network fundamentals and quality of service concepts to optimize media flows and ensure that conferencing traffic delivers consistent performance across hybrid environments.
• Utilize practical experience in cards and payments processes to align collaboration solutions with operational workflows regulatory requirements and customer interaction patterns when relevant.
• Exhibit proficiency in documenting solution architectures and creating clear design standards that enable consistent implementation and long term maintainability across teams.
• Employ solid analytical and problem solving skills to diagnose complex conferencing issues interpret technical logs and propose actionable remediation steps that minimize business impact.
• Bring experience working in hybrid work models and day shift operations ensuring timely collaboration with stakeholders located in multiple regions without requiring travel.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 to $105,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
