Diagnostic/Heavy Line Automotive Technician who takes pride in solving complex vehicle issues and delivering quality repairs the first time. In this role, you'll:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns on Ford vehicles.
- Perform maintenance and repairs efficiently while meeting Ford and dealership quality standards.
- Use factory diagnostic equipment and technical resources to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Complete thorough multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or safety recommendations.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Work closely with the Parts Department to keep repairs moving efficiently.
- Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, warranty information, and labor operations.
- Road test vehicles as needed to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship.
- Mentor apprentice technicians and help foster a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in ongoing Ford factory training and stay current with the latest technology, repair procedures, and technical service bulletins.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all dealership and safety policies.
- Treat every customer's vehicle with the professionalism and care you would expect for your own.

QualificationsPreferred qualifications include:
- Experience as an Automotive Service Technician with Diagnostic and Heavy Line repair experience
- Ford dealership experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- ASE Certifications are preferred
- Ability to efficiently diagnose, repair, and maintain today's increasingly complex vehicles
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
