You will get to:- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer's vehicle
- Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
- Completing approved service on customer vehicles
- Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
- Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune ups.
- Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
- Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries
What does it take to get on track?- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician status, CVI and CVSE certification is required
- Diesel experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
- A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
- The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory driver's abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
