Full Job Description
Location: Katy, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 OTE, based on experience and performance
Pay Structure: Base salary plus commission

We are looking for an experienced, high-performing Service Advisor for our Katy location. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who already knows how to manage a busy service drive, build trust with customers, confidently present repair recommendations, and consistently produce strong results.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the customer experience from initial check-in through vehicle delivery.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through honest recommendations, proactive communication, and dependable follow-through.
  • Review inspection results and confidently present maintenance and repair recommendations.
  • Create accurate estimates and explain repair priorities, pricing, timelines, warranties, and financing options.
  • Consistently achieve performance goals related to sales, gross profit, average repair order, closing ratio, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain complete and accurate repair orders, including customer authorizations, service contracts, deposits, and payment information.
  • Coordinate closely with technicians and the parts team to keep work moving efficiently.
  • Provide customers with timely updates regarding vehicle status, additional findings, pricing changes, or delays.
  • Use Tekmetric and other shop systems to manage repair orders, customer communication, financing, and payments.
  • Take ownership of challenges and help create solutions that support the customer, the team, and the shop.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 3-5 years of successful Service Advisor experience at a dealership or established independent automotive repair shop.
  • A proven record of producing strong sales, gross profit, average repair order, closing ratio, and customer satisfaction results.
  • Experience managing a high-volume workload without sacrificing accuracy or customer service.
  • Strong automotive knowledge and the ability to clearly explain maintenance and repair recommendations.
  • A confident, consultative sales approach focused on helping customers make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • The ability to remain composed, accountable, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Tekmetric or a similar shop management system is preferred.
  • European automotive experience is strongly preferred.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $100,000-$150,000 estimated on-target earnings

Requirements

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working in a fast-paced automotive environment. The employee must also be able to safely move or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds when needed.
