The
Finance Manager plays a critical role in the dealership's profitability. You'll be responsible for securing financing for customers, structuring deals, and presenting a variety of financial and insurance products to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Responsibilities:- Guide customers through the full financing process, including credit assessment, loan pre-qualification, lender negotiation, and compliant deal documentation
- Present and sell F&I products (extended warranties, GAP insurance, service contracts, etc.) tailored to each customer's needs and budget, effectively handling objections to maximize penetration rates
- Structure financing deals that balance customer satisfaction with dealership profitability, utilizing available tools and techniques within legal and ethical boundaries
- Deliver an exceptional, consultative customer experience by building trust, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring clarity throughout every step of the transaction
- Ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act, and stay current on regulatory updates
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders and insurance providers, and train and mentor sales staff on F&I products and processes
- Assist with sales reporting, financial analysis, and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Demonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- 2+ years of experience in automotive finance required. Toyota, Lexus or other highline brand preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive financing principles and loan options.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer skills and dealership management software (DMS).
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Knowledge of F&I regulations and compliance is a plus.
