RoleSummary:
The Automation & Autonomy Site Technology Product Application Specialist helps advance constructionremote control and autonomysolutions byvalidatingcustomer needs, prioritizing value-driven requirements, and supporting adoption that delivers measurable customer and business outcomes.

What You Will Do (Job Duties):

  • Capture, define, and prioritize unmet customer needs for remote control, task autonomy, and site autonomy based on customer value, business impact, and expected site outcomes.

  • Support product development as the commercial owner bybuilding andvalidating business cases, defining requirements, shaping businessmodelsandensuringsite technologysolutionsdeliverintended customeroutcomes.

  • Lead customer validation and field learning through early learner and field-follow engagements, customer visits, and real-world performance feedback.

  • Partner with commercial, Go-To-Marketand development teams to align priorities, manage theconstructionremote control andautonomy roadmap, and support adoption andutilizationgrowth.

  • Familiarity with product development processes, including translating customer requirements into functional requirements and solution outcomes.

  • Ability torepresentthe customer perspective throughout the development process to ensure solutions deliver intended value and site outcomes.

  • Proven ability to influence engineering and development teams using customer-back insights and business priorities.
  • Experiencedeploying technology solutions inconstruction, industrialandwaste, quarry,miningor relatedindustrysegments.

Summary Pay Range:

$147,760.00 - $221,640.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location,job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
