You will lead day-to-day fieldwork on audit and attest engagements, supervise staff and interns, perform risk-based testing and complex audit procedures, review financial statements and client deliverables and serve as a key client contact from planning through completion.
What you need to bring:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3 to 6 years of audit experience in public accounting
- CPA license or active progress toward CPA licensure preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, audit methodology and workpaper standards
- Experience with closely held businesses, nonprofits, governmental entities or employee benefit plans is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit software such as CCH Engagement, Guided Assurance, Suralink or Checkpoint preferred
- Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Dallas area
