Full Job Description
What You'll Do

Within our Assurance practice, every engagement begins with a plan - and that's where you step in. Armed with strong and organized project management skills, you chart the course for each client journey as an Assurance Manager. You will leverage your technical expertise to interpret complex financial data, anticipate reporting needs, and navigate technical challenges with confidence.

This role requires master of advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (e.g. advanced pivot tables and pivot charts, data modeling, dynamic arrays, lookup functions, logical formulas, and aggregation formulas) to analyze large data sets, create financial reports, and build automated processes that streamline data entry, report generation, and analysis. Your expertise drives efficiency and consistency across engagements and equips you to refine the skills of other team members, helping them enhance their technical abilities and product high-quality work.

When new engagements arise, you play a pivotal role by assisting in proposal development and working across departments to shape solutions that align with client goals, ensuring each proposal reflects insight and expertise. As a supervisor and mentor, your impact expands beyond plans and execution. You serve as the steady hand that evaluates performance, offers meaningful feedback, and helps staff grow into confident accounting professionals. This makes you a reliable source of knowledge not only for answers, but for guidance.

Relationship-building becomes the thread that ties your days together. Whether you're nurturing current client partnerships or developing new ones, you understand that trust fuels the long-term success of the firm. You identify what clients need and help uncover opportunities to expand the value the firm provides.

Your voice carries weight. In client meetings and inter firm gatherings, you deliver clear, compelling messages that deepen understanding and connections. You communicate with purpose, moving confidently between conversations with staff, leadership, and clients to ensure everyone stays aligned and informed.

Additional work hours are required from January through April 15th.

Required Education & Skills
  • Proven ability to perform the core duties outlined above
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA license
  • Background in public accounting or a client-focused environment

Preferred Career Experience
  • Experience in Real Estate clients and/or nonprofit organizations
  • Prior experience with Engagement Manager and CCH Axcess
