What You'll Do
As an Audit Manager, you'll lead multiple audit engagements from planning through delivery while serving as a trusted advisor to your clients and a coach to your team.
You will plan, coordinate, and manage multiple audit engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgets. You will review workpapers, draft financial statements, and oversee the execution of audit procedures. You will build strong relationships with clients, including government agencies, municipalities, and public institutions, while serving as a strategic advisor on complex accounting, reporting, and compliance matters. You will understand each client's unique risks and collaborate closely with firm leadership while acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams. You will also identify opportunities to expand services and contribute to broader practice growth.
Leadership & Team Development
You will play a critical role in developing the next generation of talent by coaching and mentoring staff, providing clear expectations and feedback, managing workloads, and fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and 6+ years of audit experience. Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience working with government or public-sector clients, technical expertise and experience with GASB standards, CPA certification, and prior supervisory experience.
