Position Overview
To ensure that clinical Audiological services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. Those served include inpatients and outpatients, patients requiring care in the home, nursing home patients, United Health Services Hospitals staff, employees affiliated with UHS Inc., vendors, and community groups as needed. Priority is given to services which directly affect patients and students.

$54.17 - $81.25 per hour, depending on experience

To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high-quality audiology care, we are seeking an Audiologist with a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's degree in Audiology, ASHA certification (CCC-A), and eligibility for licensure in New York State to join an established practice consisting of one audiologist currently. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of professionals in a pleasant and professional environment.

Position Details:
  • Perform and analyze electrophysiologic testing for patients of all ages, including newborns.
  • Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, OAEs, and acoustic immittance testing for patients of all ages and populations.
  • Cochlear implant evaluations, activations and mappings.
  • Strive to expand current scope of offerings by Audiology department to better serve our local community.

Location:
Binghamton, NY is located approximately 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. It is a progressive college town offering a strong healthcare presence, a safe living environment, and a diverse community with nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, a symphony orchestra, and an opera company.

The position includes a competitive starting salary of $116,000 to $125,000, with bonus incentives, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
