What You'll Do
As a key member of our Tacoma team, you'll have the opportunity to work independently while enjoying full support from our clinical and administrative staff. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conducting hearing evaluations for patients ages 18 and up
Performing tympanometry and earmold impressions
Educating patients and families on hearing health and treatment options
Recommending, fitting, and programming hearing aids using Real Ear Measurement (REM)
Providing follow-up care, adjustments, and long-term patient support
Counseling patients on communication strategies and hearing device use
Documenting visits and coordinating care with referring physicians
Participating in community outreach events, health fairs, and educational seminars
Upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
Patient-focused, empathetic, and an excellent communicator
Committed to best practices and high clinical standards
Skilled in both diagnostics and hearing aid dispensing
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.)
