Purpose of Position:

Provide audiological clinical and educational services to patients and their families.

Uphold the organization's vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization's policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide a full range of audiology services for patients throughout the entire lifespan. Services include, but are not limited to comprehensive hearing evaluations, electrophysiologic tests such as ABR and ASSR, vestibular evaluations, and amplification selection and fitting as appropriate, including conventional hearing aids and ALDs, bone anchored implants, and cochlear implants. Provide assessments and diagnoses to patients and families, setting outcomes and implementing actions to meet patient and family needs, evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes through the use of sound clinical decision-making practices
  • Gather and record data, prepare reports, bill for services, and maintain a file management system
  • Participate in activities that promote audiological health and hearing loss prevention
  • Educate patients and families regarding audiological wellness
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Work is conducted in a standard clinical environment to include exposure to latex, biohazrd or other harmful substances

• Moderate travel is required (between 25% and 50% of the time)

• Travel is required via large aircraft

• Travel is required via small (less than 16 passenger) aircraft
