What We Are Looking For:

As our Audio Visual Manager, you are the frontline leader responsible for the daily success of our AV services and team. You'll guide a group of skilled technicians in delivering world-class support for our global headquarters, ensuring our most critical communications run flawlessly. This role leads a team of technicians to support all corporate events and our 200+ collaboration spaces, including over 100 conference rooms. This position requires a candidate who can effectively manage a technical team, contribute to departmental strategy, has a blend of live event expertise, proactive system monitoring, and technical installation skills to ensure all AV systems are designed, implemented, and operated to the highest standard.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AV professionals, overseeing daily operations and fostering professional growth.
  • Oversee the team's technical support for onsite and offsite corporate events hosted by Bandwidth.
  • Manage the daily support and operational readiness of over 200 collaboration spaces, including Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom rooms.
  • Contribute to the annual budget process by providing suggestions for equipment replacement, SaaS renewals, and labor needs.
  • Develop and implement team-level AV processes and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery for all conferencing and event platforms.
  • Oversee the team's maintenance of all digital signage, room scheduling, wireless presentation devices, background music, and large-format videowall systems across all campuses.
  • Act as a key resource in our technology planning by contributing to the annual budget process with suggestions for equipment and software , and assisting senior leadership with AV design for new projects.
  • Ensure the team properly administers its backend AV network and server infrastructure.
  • Work with and build strong relationships with outside vendors as needed.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in the design and installation of Audio Visual systems in renovation and new construction projects.
  • Manage, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior staff and interns.

What You Need:

We're looking for a leader who is passionate about AV technology and dedicated to delivering flawless support.
  • Experience: You have 6+ years of experience in the AV industry, with at least 1-2 years in a direct supervisory or management capacity. You also bring hands-on experience with high-stakes corporate events and commercial AV installation. A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Technical Knowledge: You have a strong understanding of core AV and IT concepts, including the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of modern networked AV production equipment and enterprise conferencing solutions like Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Leadership Acumen: You possess strong leadership and customer service skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Bonus Points:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field. CTS, Network+, Dante, or other relevant AV/IT certifications.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of AV event technical management and 3+ years of commercial installation team lead experience.
  • Knowledge:
    • Experience with ITSM ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in AV programming and experience with DSP programming (Extron, Biamp)
