Responsibilities • Manage a docket and stay offensive with pre-litigation and litigation files • Conduct depositions, mediations, trial prep, trial & hearings • Handle motions and discovery • Negotiate with the insurance adjuster and defense attorneys • Draft motions and petitions • Report on case pipeline and quarterly KPIs • All attorneys are responsible for legal operations consistent with the firm's mission and values Qualifications Preferred Qualifications • Strong leadership skills • Litigation and trial experience preferred • Strong organizational and task prioritization • Strong analytical and legal writing skills • Ability to adapt and perform in high-pressure situations • Effective and thorough communicator • Actively seeks and implements feedback and works well with a team • Good standing with the State Bar of Texas • Personal commitment to a balanced and healthy lifestyle
