Full Job Description
Summary

Provides leadership oversight for enterprise leadership development programs, leadership learning delivery,
facilitator management, and leadership training initiatives across Johns Hopkins Health System. In partnership
with Vice President of Learning & Development, supports implementation of leadership development and talent
development strategies that strengthen leadership capability, workforce readiness, employee engagement and
organizational performance.

Leads the design, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of leadership development programs
and learning experiences for leaders at all levels of the organization. Oversees leadership facilitators, leadership
curriculum delivery, instructional quality, participant experience, and leadership assessments and program
coordination in collaboration with Organizational Development consultants, Learning Operations, Human
Resources leaders, and operational stakeholders. Establishes and maintains collaborative partnerships across
Johns Hopkins Health System to advance leadership effectiveness, talent development, talent
development, facilitation excellence, and organizational priorities.
  • Provides leadership oversight for enterprise leadership development programs, , facilitator management and
    leadership training delivery, and leadership curriculum implementation across JHHS.
  • Partners with executive leadership, HR, OD Consultants, learning operations and operational stakeholders to
    identify leadership capability needs and develop targeted development solutions aligned with organizational
    priorities. .
  • Leads the design, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of leadership development
    programs for leaders at all levels, including emerging leaders, supervisors, managers, directors and
    executives.
  • Ensures leadership curricula incorporate best practices in adult learning, leadership development,
    organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, organizational learning performance improvement and
    change management.
  • Oversees the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of leadership development,
    orientation, mentoring, and enterprise learning programs.
  • Ensures leadership curricula incorporate adult learning principles, evidence-based leadership practices,
    instructional design best practices, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Manages and develops leadership facilitators, ensuring excellence in facilitation, instructional quality,
    participant engagement, and consistent delivery of enterprise leadership programs.
  • Provides operational oversight for learning and leadership development programs, including project
    management, budgets, resources, vendors, and program delivery.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts for learning systems, processes, tools, and organizational
    effectiveness initiatives. Establishes and monitors leadership development metrics, outcomes, and key
    performance indications to measure program effectiveness and organizational impact.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
    related to learning and development.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and performance management to team members while fostering
    collaboration, innovation, accountability, and service excellence

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design/technology, education, organizational development, human resources,
    health care or another related field (required). Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of
    relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
  • Certifications as required to administer select leadership training programs and assessment instruments

Experience
  • 7 years of progressively responsible training and/or organizational development experience (required)
    including
  • 2+ years in a management capacity (required)
