Responsibilities
This is a remote position supporting our West Coast operations and Contract Bill service line. This role requires regular travel to supported sites across the region.
The Associate Vice President of Strategic Growth is responsible for the strategic and profitable growth of the business in their assigned accounts. The Associate Vice President of Strategic Growth assists both the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President in sourcing new business leads and holds management teams accountable to strategic growth and business development. The Associate Vice President of Strategic Growth is responsible for coaching, mentoring, collaboration, and strategic execution of business development plans in partnership with Senior Market Directors, Market Directors, Program Leads, Directors of Rehab, and Senior Directors of Rehab.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Growth Strategy Development and Execution: Targets strategic and profitable growth in assigned accounts and makes connections with key contacts. Responsible for business growth in their assigned market.
Sales Cycle Management: Oversees the entire business development process, from initial contact and proposal development to contract negotiation and new business start-up coordination.
Function Leadership and Development: Establishes a high-performing business development function that emphasizes a relationship-first approach. This includes developing and managing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) function to ensure all activities are tracked and nurtured. Educates and trains internal stakeholders on essential skills such as lead generation, networking, and successful closure to foster a company-wide culture of growth.
Team Mentorship and Relationship Management: Mentors and coaches local management teams in effective customer relationship management and business development strategies so that these team members can be leveraged for local business development activities and business growth. Maintains positive public relations with existing and potential customers through active communication, professional association membership, association committee membership, and trade show involvement. Partners with key operational and clinical stakeholders to ensure customer health is monitored and managed in person and through CRM tracking, with assigned ownership of core business partners. Assists the Regional Vice President in managing key customer relationships.
Operations and Growth Management: Partners with operations while evaluating and making recommendations on potential synergies between business lines that would drive business growth, both new store and same store growth. In partnership with the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President, assumes responsibility for the coordination of new business start-ups, including facility assessment and customer service, while simultaneously supporting ongoing marketing efforts that target external clients. Assists the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President in annual budget preparation. Assumes responsibility for meeting annual growth targets as set by the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President.
Business Development and Strategic Planning: Evaluates new business opportunities and ensures the likelihood of profitability. Generates new business leads through strategic marketing efforts that include tactics for cold calls, marketing analysis/targeting key accounts, direct mail, social media, and trade show operations. Provides recommendations to the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President on any appropriate adjustments of marketing plans that are necessary to achieve goals. Assists the Regional Vice President in identifying and securing new referral sources.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required.
7-10 years of experience in sales/healthcare, preferably in the post-acute space, is required.
Posted Salary RangeUSD $140,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
