Associate Veterinarian

Our hospital is hiring a Veterinarian to join our established Integrative Medicine Department and support the continued growth of our Canine Rehabilitation Services.

The Ideal Candidate would be willing and able to uphold high standards of medical excellence and foster collaboration within our team environment.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
  • Internship or comparable small animal clinical experience
  • Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA, CVMA, CVAT preferred) or active pursuit
  • Certification in Canine Rehabilitation (CCRT, CCRP, CCRV, or VMRT preferred) or active pursuit
  • Additional training in veterinary chiropractic and/or Chinese Herbal Medicine valued

About Our Hospital

Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital (PVH) is a multi-species animal practice located in Snohomish, Washington, providing high-quality, dedicated care for every patient. Since 1963, we've provided a full-service, multi-species practice. With more than 20 doctors on our team and a staff of 75+, we provide professional veterinary care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

While we do not currently have a board-certified rehabilitation specialist on staff, rehabilitation programs are developed collaboratively and integrated with the patient's ongoing care in partnership with the primary or referring veterinarian. This model supports strong interdisciplinary communication and continuity of care within our hospital. This position also offers the opportunity to help shape and expand integrative services within a large, collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital.

Pilchuck serves as a regional hub for the greater Puget Sound area. Our Integrative Medicine team manages a diverse caseload, with a reach that extends across Western Washington - from Whidbey Island to the Kitsap Peninsula - drawing clients who travel for our specialized expertise.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience , with an annual PROSAL full-time range of $90,000 - $140,000 /year . The actual salary offered will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
