Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group is hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs in our Beacon practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys outpatient medicine within a well-established multi-location hospital network. The role is well suited for someone who is passionate about client education and developing lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

The caseload is centered around wellness visits, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and outpatient sick appointments. There are no surgical responsibilities associated with this position. As an anchor veterinarian, you will play an important role in the continued growth and success of the practice while collaborating closely with our established Hopewell Junction team.

What to Expect
  • A schedule that respects your time. We offer flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance, with opportunities for full-time veterinarians to supplement their schedule at our Hopewell Junction hospital. Scheduled lunch breaks are flexible at the doctor's discretion. Full-time veterinarians participate in limited on-call coverage one evening per week, providing overnight phone support for the Hopewell Junction team. On-call responsibilities are limited to minor cases that do not require overnight hospitalization, while advanced emergencies are referred elsewhere.
  • A collaborative support network. Enjoy the best of both worlds: the opportunity to help shape the future of an outpatient practice while benefiting from the specialists, referral services, and collaborative support of our established Hopewell Junction hospital.
  • A practice focused on medicine and relationships. You'll spend your time caring for a caseload that includes wellness visits, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and outpatient sick appointments while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
  • All the benefits you deserve- health, dental, vision, retirement-plus: sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, production compensation with no negative accrual, CE allowance, professional dues and license reimbursement, AVMA-PLIT coverage, pet discounts, uniform allowance, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits.
  • Paid time off. Catch your breath with paid holidays, paid time off, and paid CE days each year. Take the time you need to recharge.
  • Partnership opportunities through Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP), where more than 260 partners co-own practices across 200 locations. VPP offers unmatched support in operations, marketing, and finance, allowing you to focus on your passion for veterinary medicine.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid veterinary license in the State of New York.
