Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Active state veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one)
Experience in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry required
Interest or prior experience in exotic pet medicine is a plus
DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities
Provide veterinary care for both standard and exotic pets
Perform surgeries and dental procedures as needed
Engage with clients to educate on pet health and wellness
Utilize medical autonomy to make care decisions
Participate in ongoing learning and mentorship opportunities
