Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of NC personal injury experience, preferably in litigation.
• Active member of the NC Bar Association required.
• Proficiency in writing, research, and negotiation is a must.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and public speaking skills are essential.
• Active membership in the SC Bar Association is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and investigate assigned litigation matters.
• Handle non-exceptional cases through settlement or verdict as directed by senior attorneys.
• Ensure timely completion of discovery and necessary depositions.
• Oversee the timely retention and designation of expert witnesses.
• Fulfill monthly mediation requirements as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain accurate and accessible notes and documents through CMS.
• Monitor Statute of Limitations and participate in routine SOL meetings.
• Maintain accountability for litigation deadlines and calendar tasks.
• Report on all case dates, offers, demands, and settlement amounts.
• Guide litigation case managers in casework adherence and legal guidelines.
• Participate actively in litigation meetings and provide case strategy advice.
• Assist attorneys and staff as needed.
