RF, OTA, and EMC testing at a multi-client electromagnetic laboratory, executing tests, troubleshooting client issues, and providing technical support. The role requires

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks:- Develop and execute complex RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC measurements and tests to client statements of work and aerospace/defense standards.
- Develop automation scripts (Python, MATLAB) to optimize test time and streamline data collection.
- Provide active engineering support to clients to assist in troubleshooting failures and analyze data to produce compliance-ready test reports and certificates.
- Interface regularly with the larger test engineering organization in Torrance, CA to further refine test methodology and measurement techniques.
- Support the calibration and preventative maintenance schedules for all laboratory assets.
Qualifications- 1-3 years of experience (with B.S.) or 0-1 years of experience (with M.S.) in Test Engineering.
- Familiar with electrical test and measurement equipment such as: Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Power Supplies.
- Theoretical understanding of RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC test and measurement principles.
- Understanding of aerospace and defense testing standards including MIL-STD-461 and DO-160.
- Experience developing automated test stands for various types of hardware.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required).
- Education Requirements: B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Additional InformationCompensationThe expected salary for this position is $90,000 to 100,000 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
