Your Team
BlackRock's Securities Lending Operations team supports the lending of securities on behalf of clients by ensuring trades, collateral, settlements, reconciliations, and related operational activities are processed accurately and efficiently. The team works closely with Trading, Technology, Risk, and client-facing partners to support a growing global business. By delivering operational excellence and maintaining a strong control environment, the team plays a critical role in supporting client outcomes and the continued growth of BlackRock's securities lending platform.
Your Role and Impact
We are seeking a Securities Lending Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day processing and oversight of securities lending transactions. This role provides exposure to global markets, portfolio operations, collateral management, and operational risk management while offering opportunities to collaborate with teams across BlackRock. The successful candidate will contribute to the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of a critical business function that supports clients and investment teams around the world.
Your Responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end securities lending trade lifecycle, including trade support, settlement, collateral management, reconciliations, and the timely resolution of operational exceptions.
Ensure securities loans are appropriately collateralized and margin requirements are maintained in accordance with established guidelines.
Manage loan returns, recalls, and inventory sufficiency activities to support efficient market operations.
Perform daily cash, securities, and collateral reconciliations and investigate exceptions or breaks with counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
Produce operational reporting and support audits, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency.
Partner with global teams across Trading, Risk, Technology, and Operations to support business growth, strategic initiatives, and evolving client needs.
Your Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and resolve operational issues.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
Interest in financial markets, investment operations, securities financing, or securities lending activities.
Experience using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to support reporting and operational analysis.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a controlled operational environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$85,000.00 - USD$117,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
