Full Job Description

The Associate Sales Executive in the Tax & Accounting Professionals (TAAP) Mid‑Market segment is a quota‑carrying, territory‑based role responsible for driving new revenue growth and expanding existing customer relationships within an assigned geography. This role operates in a high‑volume, fast‑paced sales environment, engaging primarily through phone, virtual meetings, and digital channels.

You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through close and expansion—while partnering closely with Sales Development Representatives, Account Specialists, Customer Success Managers, and Solutions Consultants to execute a disciplined, repeatable sales motion.

This is an entry-level Sales Rep role.

About the Role

  • Support Sales Executive & Senior Sales Executives in their territories to achieve monthly new business, expansion, and renewal targets

  • Execute high‑impact product demonstrations across Thomson Reuters’ Tax & Accounting workflow solutions

  • Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities using a transactional + consultative selling approach

  • Leverage sales technology and data insights (Salesforce, Flash, EMS, Gong, etc.) to manage pipeline, prioritize activity, and accelerate deal cycles

  • Maintain accurate territory, pipeline, and forecasting data within CRM systems

  • Identify and share market intelligence, competitive insights, and territory trends

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver value‑based solutions and resolve customer needs

About You

  • B2B Sales experience preferred

  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets/KPIs

  • Strong phone‑based and virtual selling skills

  • Experience in a high-volume outbound environment

  • SDR/BDR or Inside Sales experience (outbound activity)

  • Highly coachable, eager to learn & critical thinking skills

  • Strong internal drive, initiative & integrity

  • Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $75,600 USD - $140,400 USD. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. Target total cash compensation ranges are inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
