Associate Project Manager, Luxury Travel Operations
To support the rapid scale and expansion of Luxury Travel, we are seeking a Project Manager – Luxury Travel Operations to support well-managed program execution and continued growth. This role will help manage key operational processes, serve as the point of contact for program participants and external partners, coordinate communications, and contribute to the tools and process improvements that enable our programs to scale.
This role serves as the central operational and platform backbone, bridging hands-on travel operations with technical platform delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Travel Operations & Evaluator Support: Serve as the primary operational contact to manage incoming requests, resolve live property evaluation issues, handle room category edge cases, and resolve post-visit customer experience or billing disputes.
- Quality & Scoring Management: Review and score completed property evaluations, escalate systemic or critical operational issues, and distribute performance reports to internal and partner teams.
- Community Engagement & Resources: Drive participant engagement by creating educational program resources, hosting learning events, and delivering ongoing program communications.
- Platform Tooling Support: Manage program portal administration, including maintaining records and content, identifying and coordinating resolution of platform issues, and supporting new features and improvements from roadmap through delivery.

General Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager you will:
- Work on small to medium-scale department projects that have a direct impact on the company
- Drive cross-functional projects or phases of larger projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed
- Work with customer to assist in project planning and design. Manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery.
- Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
- Facilitate regular meetings with project team. Document progress and report to stakeholders on project status.
- Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
- Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
- Identify ways to improve and streamline business processThe person will:
- Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work

Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor27s or Master27s / MBA degree
- 3 years of Project Management experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills
- Work experience achieving results

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $81,700 - $93,300 for Project ManagerNew York, NY: $89,200 - $101,700 for Project Manager
Richmond, VA: $74,200 - $84,700 for Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate27s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
