Job Description:

The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for an Associate Principal for Milton High School(9-12 Grades). Milton High School has 1,055 9th and 12th grade students and 120 employees. This position will begin as soon as possible and is based on a 260-day administrative contract. The salary range is $114,000 to $117,000, based on the successful candidate's administrative experience. Depending on the employee's start date, the salary for the 2026-27 contract year will be prorated. A highly competitive benefits package is also included.

Qualifications:

The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage staff and students in the learning process. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized communicator and must be able to provide strong instructional leadership to a dynamic team of dedicated and experienced teachers and support staff. The candidate should possess the ability to foster a professional learning community and engage staff in creating a positive and dynamic learning environment that is focused on student achievement in a positive, caring, and safe environment. The new leader will have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, staff, parents and the community.

Leadership experiences should include measurable growth in student achievement, school climate, MLSS, effective staff supervision/evaluation practices, and leading professional development.

A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education and a Master of Science (MS) in Educational Administration or Leadership is required. Prior experience as a classroom teacher is also required.

Prior experience with AVID preferred.
