Job Description
Position Overview
The Associate or Senior Associate, Regulatory Affairs will report to the Director of Regulatory Affairs-ERCOT. They will support the regulatory team in representing Invenergy before state and federal economic regulators, transmission service providers, regional transmission organizations/independent system operators, and state and regional trade associations on behalf of Invenergy's operating assets as well as its pipeline of development projects. This individual will assist senior regulatory staff in the development, advocacy, implementation and monitoring of market rules as they apply to the construction, interconnection, and operation of generation, transmission and battery storage projects. The position will be based out of Invenergy’s Denver or Portland office.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications: BS or BA in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Law, Political Science, Finance, or Environmental Policy 3+ years relevant experience.
Travel Required, approximately 20-25%.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities and projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Base Pay
$93,000.00 - 113,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
