About the RoleThe Catalog pod is focused on improving how we onboard merchants with speed, quality and accuracy through tools, technologies and operational process. The projects we work on are diverse and impact all sides of our marketplace - Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants. As an Associate, you will focus on identifying ways to implement new technologies into how we automate onboarding processes for Merchants.
We operate in a hybrid model; we do try to get the entire team together once a quarter in person and all of our offices are open should you choose to go in. In our major hubs, we do weekly office days with those local as a team as well!
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...- Analyze. You embrace AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, improve workflows, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Build. You will help build strategic initiatives that impact all three sides of our marketplace; this can vary from our shopper rewards programs to dasher efficiency to merchant onboarding. This means everything from high-level strategy to operational details.
- Collaborate. You will advocate internally for solutions to enhance the user experience. Where a product or operations solution is needed to unlock growth and reduce cost, you will advocate for those resources with your central partners.
- Lead. You will help lead cross-functional work streams to develop an operating playbook to establish processes and guidelines to enhance how we operate New Verticals wide initiatives like our Dasher Shop & Deliver platform, Shopper program, Logistics network and so much more!
- Strategize. You will help develop the strategy for how we bring the local community directly to our consumers, achieving perfect quality, speed and accuracy every time. You will help create quarterly and annual plans that push our business forward and are aligned with our product capabilities. You will help these teams identify opportunities for enhancing our existing product offering and methods to improve delivery quality.

- You are an operator. You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're also able to think long-term. You will experience our operation first hand, to inform your strategy.
- You're analytical. You're comfortable using AI tools to synthesize information, streamline workflows, and solve complex business problems. You have experience working with data, building insights, and communicating recommendations through dashboards and visualizations.
- You have 1-3+ years of experience. You've succeeded in high-performing cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups or a related experience). DoorDash experience is a plus!
- You have a completed Bachelor's Degree.
CompensationActual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

See below for paid time off details:
- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$74,800-$110,000 USD
