Want to apply your legal skills and interests in environmental protection? Read on!As a senior staff attorney, you'll provide legal counsel and advice to the director and division chief. You'll craft legal strategies and confidential documents, review and assist with complex environmental enforcement cases as well as navigate multi-division/agency legal issues and represent the director in sensitive negotiations and proceedings.
You'll act as a liaison to and coordinate with the Attorney General's Office on enforcement cases and judicial appeals and prepare findings and orders and administrative documents for high-profile cases. As senior counsel, you'll advise staff attorneys on policy and law matters, contribute to rule development, offer legislative testimony, and respond to inquiries from the public and officials on the director's behalf.

Qualifications- Admission to Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4705.01 of Revised Code; AND 12 mos. exp. as licensed attorney; AND 6 mos. exp. in employee training & development.
