What You'll DoWe’re looking for an Associate, Investment Operations to join our team. In this role, you’ll independently perform procedures, analysis and report preparation to support the lifecycle of investments in a global infrastructure. Responsible for account reconciliation, reporting, transaction management, portfolio analysis and reporting, compliance, data and/or trade support activities.
- Support global investment initiatives through participation in projects, development and implementation of new initiatives, process reviews and/or system enhancements.
- Independently execute transactions and resolve problems with minimal guidance. Establish new securities, compliance rules, new accounts, and or new reports to ensure readiness for trading, reconciliation, settlement and/or the client reporting process.
- Identify and resolve issues associated with client data, trade breaks, reconciliation breaks, and/or compliance breaches. Prepare reports and maintain controls in alignment with internal policies and clients' needs.
- Interface with internal and external personnel including senior operations staff, legal, relationship management, IT, banks, brokers, custodians, portfolio managers, traders, regulatory agencies and/or industry contracts to educate, provide direction, obtain information and resolve problems.
- Provide initial and on-going training to Operations Associates and Operations Specialists. Serve as first point of contact for inquiries. Demonstrate expertise in the areas of technical functions, research of issues, problem solving, independent decision making and effective communication.
- Perform other job related duties or special projects as required.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in accounting, finance, economics or business required.
- Knowledge of financial services and investment related terminology required.
- Solid analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, time management, planning, decision making, and communication skills required.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Success in this position requires a strong client service orientation, the ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven, team-based environment and the ability to produce accurate and timely information with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to handle multiple, increasingly complex, tasks, prioritize effectively and be flexible as business needs change.
- Must have the ability to take initiative, be a self-starter and work independently.

- 2+ years' work experience in investment/mutual fund operations or related field preferred.
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
