About the Role:As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Sr. Consultant, you will assist in the management of Environmental Health and Safety programs relative to several accounts or large market areas.
This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.
What You'll Do: - Identify and create programs that meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
- Evaluate existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes. Suggest improvements and new programs as needed.
- Function as a resource to staff and internal customers as the HSE subject matter expert.
- Provide direct and timely advice and information to the account management, market area, or other assigned areas. Discuss with client performance, compliance, trends, and concerns.
- Oversee specific HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures for the assigned account or market area, making certain playbooks are current, complete, and implemented.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing the quality of services.
- Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
- Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
- Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
- Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
- Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
- Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.
What You'll Need: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Certifications as required by local government.
- The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
- Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions that have a broad impact on the business.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

The minimum salary for the Associate HSE Director position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $ 190,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
