The Associate HR Business Partner supports both Corporate and Retail teams, helping foster a positive, productive, and legally compliant work environment. This role serves as a trusted partner to leaders and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, leave of absence inquiries, performance management, and HR best practices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the first line of response for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively manage low-level employee relations, complaint resolution, perform internal reviews and provide counsel and recommendations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of HR policies, employment/labor laws, and regulations to support internal customers.
- Partner with HR Business Manager - Employee Relations to support the implementation and execution of HR programs, processes, and tools, primarily in, employee relations, leave of absence administration and ad-hoc programs and initiatives.
- Reports on and analyzes retail and office labor turnover and promotions to support business partners with retention and development growth opportunities.
- Support processing employee lifecycle changes in HRIS and other HR systems, as necessary.
- Maintain process documentation and support the streamlining of operational processes.
- Perform SharePoint maintenance and updates.
- Support the HR Team with ad-hoc needs, as applicable.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Professional HR certification (PHR) preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years in a Generalist capacity in a fast-paced environment.
- Sensitivity and experience working with a diverse, multicultural workforce.
- Experience handling and responding to inquiries from the EEO, DEFH, DOL, and EDD preferred.
