Job Description

The FP&A Associate Director will report to the US Oncology FP&A Director. Responsibilities will consist primarily of strategic/operational advisement and financial oversight of the US Oncology portfolio with an immediate focus on dedicated support of an oral medicine, Oncology collaborations, and total an immunotherapy medication. There will also be the potential to support exciting future initiatives that will influence our Company's position in a dynamic, competitive and faced-paced environment.

The Associate Director is expected to develop an understanding of operations across the US Oncology organization. While marketing and commercial background is not necessary, a successful candidate will have intrinsic curiosity about the Human Health organization and the broader commercial environment, a passion for learning, keen attention to detail and the ability to succinctly communicate a financial narrative to operations and finance leadership.

Primary Activities:
  • Partner with commercial and analytics teams to deliver revenue forecasts for pre-launch, post-launch and competitive scenario analyses and aid in driving informed business decisions
  • Lead business unit FP&A activities (Actuals, Budget, LROP, and other forecasts) for respective tumor families / products
  • Represent our Company's finance and our commercial teams to external collaboration parties and ensure that we develop and align on realistic revenue and expense forecasts. Attend collaboration steering committee reviews to ensure proper alignment across the two companies, develop a thorough understanding of actuals results/performance commentary and ensure that the right mix of aspiration, risk and opportunity are addressed and appreciated by alliance leadership
  • Partner with marketing, sales, operations, market access, Digital Human Health (DHH), and other teams to continuously assess business performance and flag key risks and opportunities
  • Support analyses as needed for business development, investor relations and working capital assessments
  • Collaborate with other functions (e.g. Managed Markets Finance, Customer Contract Management, Order Management Center, US Controllers, DHH) to ensure a transparent, seamless support model for the US Oncology organization
  • Participate in and/or lead special projects and initiatives


Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:
  • BS/BA degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting


Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 4 years of business experience, preferably pharmaceutical / healthcare related
  • At least two years of analytical finance experience with extensive use of Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Management presentation - Ability to clearly communicate key themes both verbally and in writing
  • At least two years in a role involving direct support of internal business customers
  • Master of Business Administration degree or other relevant certification
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to go beyond the numbers to understand the business
  • Experience with SAP and financial databases

The salary range for this role is
$129,000.00 - $203,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
