Purpose:

Coordinates complex Supply Chain and Operations Teams to align with business goals, ensuring strategic contributions and compliance

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex operations impacting $100+million-dollar sales, interface with stakeholders, manage strategies, risk management, and lead negotiations.
  • Primary interface with a wide variety of functions in both Ops and Commercial. Ensures alignment on brand/product forecasts, as well as key cross functional project initiatives.
    (Commercial Directors, VPs, and SVPs)
  • Directs and presents S&OP topics at the executive level across functions, driving synergy between demand and supply planning, with comprehensive oversight of operational performance via KPIs and other targets. Develops and drives strategies to ensure long term continuity of supply.
  • Oversees and aligns the financial planning cycle, including LRP and annual Plan, while managing inventory and ensuring synchronization of strategic goals with financial planning across functions.
  • Leads lifecycle management with a strategic view, ensuring changes align with business goals and collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth transitions. Creates change plans and supply chain assessments in executiong lifecycle programs.
  • Interacts with the Industrialization team to ensure strategic integration of developmental products into brand planning, aligning timelines and resource allocation with operational strategies.
  • Directs alignment between brand and Clinical Drug Supply Management to meet strategic trial needs, ensuring synchronization of supply chain and clinical demand planning.
  • Oversees interaction with PPDST and Asset Strategy Teams ensuring collaborative strategy development, aligning product roadmaps and brand positioning with asset strategies.
  • Direct leadership which through mentoring and development of emerging talent, fosters a culture of collaboration and accountability within teams.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred STEM or similar area, Masters preferred including MBA); 10+ years of experience. Requires high-level strategic thinking, excellent communication, shaping discussion and influencing at the executive level, and large-scale change management skills.
  • Operations experience preferred; in pharma / regulated life sciences business.
  • Strong knowledge in data analytics and telling a story through data.
  • Filtering and identifying the business critical aspects of a problem (separate the minor issues from the major issues)
  • Required manufacturing or other pharma experience.
  • Key Stakeholders: Director, Supply Chain Brand; VP positions across Supply Chain functions, including strong interactions with Commercial, Pipeline, Clinical Drug Supply Management, PPDST, and Asset Strategy stakeholders
  • Scope and Complexity: Extensive scope, leadership in complex operations, strategic impact, wide stakeholder interface, significant decision-making authority, closely aligning with Pipeline, Clinical Drug Supply, PPDST, and Asset Strategy strategies.
  • Experience Needs: Highest experience requirement among the previous positions (10+ years), overseeing a wide range of complex and strategic brand functions with impactful, multi-level management, ensuring harmonized alignments with Pipeline, Clinical, PPDST, and Asset Strategy operations.
