Summary:

The Associate Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the hospital pharmacy. The Associate Director of Pharmacy establishes standards of quality, productivity, and performance in accordance with Baptist Health Medical Center policies and procedures and requirements of State and Federal regulatory agencies. Works with other Pharmacy leaders, Hospital Leadership, and front -line employees in planning changes to accomplish the department and Hospital vision , strategic goals and organizational outcomes.

Other information:

  1. Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or Pharm.D. degree.
  2. Current license to practice pharmacy from the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy (in good standing with board) and (30) continuing education units every two (2) years required for renewal.
  3. Minimum of 5 years experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy.
  4. Minimum of 3 years inpatient hospital pharmacy supervisor is preferred.
  5. Must have good organizational, verbal, and written skills.
  6. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all members of the multidisciplinary staff.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
