POSITION OBJECTIVES:The Clinical Recruitment and Engagement, Associate Director is responsible for leading patient recruitment strategies and enhancing engagement efforts for clinical trials. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and supports clinical teams to achieve recruitment objectives, contributing to Takeda's mission of bringing Better Health and a Brighter Future to people around the world.
As a recognized expert within your business or function, you will:
- Possess comprehensive expertise in your discipline and broad knowledge across related areas.
- Excel at anticipating internal/external challenges, recommending improvements, and providing leadership and consultative expertise for a specific business, region or function.
- Shape company policies, solving unique, far-reaching problems affecting operations, disciplines, or other business units/functional areas/regions.
- Interact with equivalent-level managers and customer representatives, conducting briefings and technical meetings.
- Provide guidance in the most complex situations, lead functional teams or projects, and serve as a best practice/quality resource.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Lead patient recruitment strategies for complex clinical trials
- Manage and evaluate vendor performance to align with clinical trial objectives
- Provide expert advice and support to clinical teams to enhance recruitment efforts
- Oversee multiple clinical studies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop strategic plans for patient engagement and solve unique clinical operations problems
- Lead teams or projects, showcasing strong leadership and project management skills
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: - Leads patient recruitment strategies, demonstrating advanced understanding and application in complex clinical trials
- Manages and evaluates vendor performance, ensuring alignment with clinical trial objectives
- Provides expert advice and support to clinical teams, enhancing recruitment efforts and efficiency
- Oversees multiple clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Develops strategic plans for patient engagement, demonstrating advanced problem-solving skills
- Communicates effectively with various stakeholders, including clinical teams and vendors
- Leads teams or projects, showcasing strong leadership and project management skills
- Solves unique and far-reaching problems affecting clinical operations
- Ensures adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in all recruitment activities
- Analyzes recruitment data to inform strategic decisions and improve processes
- Manages and engages stakeholders effectively, ensuring smooth operation and collaboration across functions

U.S. Base Salary Range:$154,400.00 - $242,550.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
