What You Will Do:As the
Associate Director of Maintenance - CFD you will lead the maintenance and facilities organization for a complex site, ensuring all equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will own maintenance strategy, long-term asset planning, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives that support both day-to-day production and long-range business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, technical depth, and the ability to influence across functions and with senior leadership.
- Establish and execute long-term maintenance and reliability strategies to support site objectives and operational continuity.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and environmental and safety standards
- Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and prioritization for the site to optimize resources and minimize downtime.
- Direct responses to complex equipment issues, ensuring thorough investigation, root-cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
- Manage maintenance resources including staffing, development, budgeting, spare parts, service contracts, and vendor performance.
- Drive cost-reduction, energy-efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on asset lifecycle optimization and operational efficiency.
- Champion adoption of advanced maintenance technologies, reliability tools, and digital systems to enhance execution and performance.
- Partner strategically with operations, engineering, EHS, and senior leadership to understand needs, communicate impacts, and ensure the maintenance organization delivers high-quality service and operational support.
- Set performance expectations and ensure the maintenance function meets productivity, responsiveness, and reliability goals for the site.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Bachelor's degree and minimum 12 years of experience in machine tool maintenance, facilities, reliability, or operations, OR a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of of experience in machine tool maintenance, facilities, reliability, or operations experience
- Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Qualifications We Prefer:- Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
- Experience using process control/ Six-Sigma and/or Lean manufacturing tools
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Proven success in operational leadership, capacity expansion and implementing productivity improvements.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
