We are searching for the best talent for an Associate Director, Launch and Strategic Operations - Global Oncology located in Raritan, NJ.

Purpose:

The Associate Director - Launch and Strategic Operations is a global launch leader accountable for integrating Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access planning; establishing launch governance and readiness standards; and enabling high-quality execution through scalable capabilities, processes, and disciplined decision-making and deliverables.

This role will lead cohesive launch planning across the 3M functions, direct cross-functional teams in building integrated launch plans and deliverables and ensure effective global-to-regional execution. The Associate Director will apply launch excellence frameworks to drive dialogue on critical interdependencies, risks, mitigation actions, and acceleration scenarios. The role will establish governance for launch readiness metrics and dashboards and will advance automation, process optimization, and quality standards to strengthen launch plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the development and implementation of integrated global launch plans, governance, and operating processes for key Launch Brands that align cross-functional teams and enable execution.
  • Set launch planning standards and embed portfolio best practices across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to drive consistent global and regional readiness.
  • Enable cross-functional teams in identifying interdependencies, risks, decision points, and acceleration opportunities; establish mitigation plans and escalate issues requiring leadership action.
  • Drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to advance launch readiness capabilities, tools, dashboards, and performance metrics that strengthen accountability and enable timely decisions.
  • Partner with Global leaders to enable global-to-regional alignment on launch deliverables, readiness expectations, handoffs, and ways of working.
  • Support projects related to above-brand oncology initiatives, including portfolio-level oversight and cross- portfolio opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement across GCSO commercial operations by identifying performance gaps, implementing scalable solutions, and measuring business impact.


Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelors degree is required


Required:
  • 5+ years of program management and industry operational experience such as (business, marketing, supply chain or product management)
  • Demonstrated success leading pre-launch and post-launch planning, integrated roadmaps, or portfolio management in a complex global environment.
  • Demonstrated experience within or directly supporting a pharmaceutical Commercial organization; oncology experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead matrixed, global, cross-functional teams, drive alignment, and deliver outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong command of program management platforms, data visualization, dashboards, and automation-enabled planning solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated accountability for building in new spaces, driving teams to manage pivoting timelines, scenario planning and enabling timely decisions.
  • Demonstrated record of implementing measurable process improvements and scalable operational solutions.


Preferred:
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
  • Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment


The anticipated base pay range for this position is $122,000 - $212,750.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
  • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

- Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year

- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year

- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
