Position Description:

The Associate Director role is focused on successfully delivering PIE services for clients and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. PIE Associate Directors serve as business development consultants for our clients, delivering across the full range of PIE's client services from recruiting executives for C-suite communities and facilitating executive roundtables (virtual and in-person), to delivering business development training and managing customer advisory boards. PIE works on behalf of the world's most renowned professional services firms including Accenture, Deloitte, AWS, BCG, and KPMG, to help them build bridges to their target market and customers. engaging daily with senior executives across the C-suite, representing a range of industries (retail, media & entertainment, transportation & logistics, banking & financial services, healthcare & life sciences), and global companies (e.g., Google, Pfizer, Walgreens, Coca-Cola, Citibank). This is an exempt career-track position; as you grow at PIE, the expectation is that you will scale your capacity and manage and renew a full portfolio of projects on behalf of our clients.

Breakdown of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage client services and deliverables across multiple client projects and project teams with dynamic project deadlines
  • Develop a consultative relationship with clients, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and advising clients how to best leverage PIE services to realize their desired outcome
  • Demonstrate independent judgment with clients on behalf of PIE in accordance with PIE philosophy, project delivery standards, and best practices
  • Drive contract and project renewals by identifying client needs, surfacing growth opportunities, and confidently engaging in conversations around ongoing engagements and PIE services with clients
  • Collaborate effectively and efficiently with PIE project teams to build community networks, drive engagement, establish strong client relationships, meet and exceed client expectations, and deliver projects on time
  • Direct the work of other PIE employees to advance client projects and organizational initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong professional, yet human, written and verbal communication skills to build and manage relationships with client and internal teams, gracefully flexing communication style to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Build and maintain executive relationships and drive strong membership engagement for PIE-powered communities
  • Manage membership resources by sourcing executive contacts, developing outreach strategies, and crafting communications that convert target executives into engaged members, while enhancing the member experience and sustaining long-term participation in PIE-powered services.
  • Recruit executives to join PIE-powered communities via phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Interview executives, intelligently and smoothly navigating complex topics and content outside of your expertise
  • Organize complex interview content and conversations into thoughtful, curated discussion agendas and provide clients with relevant market insights
  • Independently facilitate virtual and in-person interactions for groups of executives, matching the pace and professionalism required by PIE's client
  • Travel, as needed, for in-person client meetings and projects
  • Maintain accurate and detailed database of client and member engagement via CRM software
  • Contribute with a solutions-oriented approach to internal initiatives and actively work to multiply others
  • Engage in assigned independent and group training/development activities aimed to improve consultant knowledge/skills and maintain a growth mindset

A bachelor's degree is required for this position. Strong project and client management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Salesforce are preferred. Salary Range: Competitive DOQ

Hours: Full-time. General Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM MT, Monday through Friday. Our work occasionally requires tasks outside of general office hours. PIE allows employees to adjust their schedules accordingly.

Position Location: We are primarily looking for candidates to work with us in Bozeman, Montana. Candidates willing to relocate from out of state are encouraged to apply.
