What you'll do:- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnoses to assess oral health and develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient comfort and long-term results.
- Deliver comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including children, ensuring a gentle, reassuring, and inclusive approach to treatment.
- Administer local anesthesia safely and effectively to manage patient pain and anxiety during procedures such as restorations (fillings), extractions, endodontic treatments (root canals), and other clinical services.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care strategies tailored to their specific needs, empowering them to take ownership of their dental health.
- Collaborate closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and front desk team members to deliver seamless, efficient, and high-quality patient care in a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient records using our dental software system.
What you'll bring to the role:- A valid license to practice dentistry in the Province of Alberta, in good standing with the relevant regulatory body.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you're someone who puts patients at ease and connects easily with colleagues.
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to balance thorough care and efficient delivery.
